Baon Kainan
Menu items have noticeable differences compared with traditional recipes. Baon Kainan adobo is made with smoked tamari in place of soy sauce and chicken stock instead of water. Their kare kare, a thick Filipino stew, is served over french fries, as an ode to their love of fast food. And their ensaymadas are constructed like cinnamon rolls, with buttercream throughout the roll, rather than just on top..

Wonderboy’s Smokestack
Secret’s out, Ryan Crowl is turning up the heat by offering smoked meats in a traditional meat-plus-sides format, or incorporated into loaded BBQ nachos, tacos, or a wild “mac and meat” featuring queso, pickled peppers, and green onions with choice of smoked meat. House-made sauces are similarly nontraditional, including tangy raspberry and mango pineapple sauces. This is where BBQ enthusiasts dreams come true.

Chubby Bunny
Imagine the McDonald’s breakfast sandwiches of your dreams, gone imperceptibly vegan. You can’t go wrong with the namesake Chubby Bunny, which crams satisfyingly umami vegan bacon, sausage, cheese, arugula, and sriracha mayo into an English muffin, nor with an egg-topped burger on a sesame seed bun.

Paladin Pie
Wood fired pizza cart from Oven & Shaker alumnus Leo Brill is a distinct departure from the Pearl District pizzeria’s pies, with a somewhat New York-style approach and a gently tangy, naturally leavened crust with exceptional chew. The toppings include standards like pepperoni and tomato pies, but the real move here is to order one of the rotating specials: Past pies have arrived topped with kimchi and bacon, birria, and roasted buffalo chicken.

Ramblin’ Rose
Ramblin’ Rose serves vegan, gluten and soy free treats, out of a bright red truck. Flavors and specials are announced regularly on Instagram; the lineup includes soft serve swirls and coconut-based scoops, in flavors like date cardamom, raspberry sherbet, and chocolate chip cookie dough. However, to fully experience the magic of the cart, the move for first timers is to order a soft serve rose soda float dusted with flowers.

Gyro World is a vibrant food cart specializing in authentic Mediterranean street food, with a particular emphasis on mouthwatering gyros, this cart attracts food lovers with its savory aroma and colorful menu. Gyro World offers a variety of gyros, including traditional lamb, succulent chicken, and a flavorful vegetarian option, all served with fresh veggies, tzatziki sauce, and wrapped in warm pita bread. E-San has been dishing out since 1999. The family-run spot draws on Laotian roots and Oregon’s local markets whenever possible. The menu is wonderfully expansive, featuring Northwest takes on Thai like salmon panang and duck pad Thai.
